Brady Brown hustled Wild Wild Western to the point in a contested :26.3 before stepping on the brakes. A refreshed Wild Wild Western thwarted the first-over bid of Dorsoduro Hanover and scored in 1:52. Carolina Beach shot the Lightning Lane for second, 1-1/4 lengths back, with Dorsoduro Hanover third.

Norm Parker trains the winner, a 6-year-old son of Western Ideal-Caila Fra who pushed his career bankroll to $414,485, for Jacobs Creek Racing, Andrew Altobelli and Jon Deters.

Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. and trainer Ron Burke each fashioned a triple on the 11-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday (April 6) when the 11-race program features a pair of carryovers — $1,795.60 in the Jackpot Pick-5 (race 4), $2,271.50 in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
