Willard Paul Kirk White, 79 of Batavia, entered the kingdom of heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 6, 2025.
He was born May 18, 1946, in Batavia, NY, a son of the late William Robert Chester White and Ruby Torrey White.
Paul was a track photographer at Buffalo Raceway for 7 years and at Batavia Downs for almost 20 years prior to his retirement. He was a flying enthusiast and loved to be in the air. Whether it was in a plane or powered parachute, he was happy off the ground. After retirement from photography, he became interested in animation design. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends,
He is survived by his wife, Sharon E. (O’Hern) White of Batavia. Daughter, Sarah Jolaine Elizabeth (Thomas) Sauka of Indiana. Grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Elizabeth Lathan and Dominic Paul Joseph Sauka. Sister Shirley Ann Delilah (Stephen) Sutay of Arkansas. Nieces, Susan (Douglas) Harrison of Kentucky and Kimberly White (Andrew Castrenze) of Massachusetts. Nephews Robert Frieda of Batavia, Gene (Janet) Sutay of California and Todd (Sarah) Sutay of Warsaw. Also survived by his canine buddy Jimmy.
He was the brother of the late William Robert Chester White Jr. who passed in 2024.
Family and friends are cordially invited to share condolences and memories on Thursday (October 9th) from 4-7pm at the Batavia First United Methodist Church, 8221 Lewiston Rd, Batavia, NY, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11am.
