Columbus, MN – The Sunday night (Aug. 11) program at Running Aces will feature two elimination heats to the 2024 Steve Wiseman Memorial trot, with each division going for a purse of $17,500.

The first split is carded as race five and anchors both the early Pick-4 and early Pick-3 wagers, while the second division in race six will kick off the middle Pick-3.
Track Record Holder Domovoy (Triumphant Caviar) has been tabbed as the 9-5 morning line favorite in race five and has three wins from six local starts this year, including his 1:53 track record effort on June 23. He will start from post five in the six horse affair with regular pilot Jacob Cutting in the bike for trainer Edwin Quevedo.
The second choice on the early line is All Champy (Explosive Matter) who will be making just his second local start and shows three wins and three seconds from eight starts at Yonkers Raceway. Lemoyne Svendsen will be in the bike for trainer Kathie Plested-Wiseman and they will start from post four.
Completing the field for the first division are: Certify (Nick Roland, 7-2), Toccoa Falls (Williams Hernandez, 4-1), Jack Rabbit Slims (Luke Plano, 6-1) and Warrawee Whisper (Brady Jenson, 10-1).
The second division sees Minnesota-sired star Bringoverthemoney (Money Talks) as the 9-5 early choice, showing a seasonal summary of 13-4-1-1 and coming in off of a strong second-place finish in the Open Handicap last week. Regular pilot Dean Magee will be in the bike for trainer Katie Horvat. Winnerup (Credit Winner) is the second choice in this group at 2-1. He shows a win, four seconds and a third from nine local outings and will be driven by Luke Plano for trainer Williams Hernandez.

The top four finishers and the fastest fifth-place finisher from the two elimination heats will advance to the $35,000 Wiseman Memorial Final next Sunday (July 18).
The program will also feature a carryover of $23,532.46 in the 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager, which will get underway in race eight.
