Lexington, KY — On Monday (Aug. 4) The Red Mile will host a 14-race card highlighted by two $80,000 first round legs of the Kentucky Championship Series for 3-year-old filly pacers and sophomore male trotters. There will also be three $30,000 Kentucky Commonwealth Series first round legs, five $15,000 first round legs of the Kentucky Golden Rod Series and two $10,000 first round legs of the Kentucky Wildcat Series.
Looksgoodinloulou, Monserrate headline Kentucky Championship Series

Looksgoodinloulou (Yannick Gingras) is back in the Bluegrass, where she has done some of her best work, to face six rivals. The daughter of Sweet Lou-Looksgoodinaromper is 5-2 on the morning line for conditioner Ron Burke and will leave from post position seven.
The filly has compiled a record this season of 4-2-0-1 and paced quietly behind the scenes. She will, however, not have to face her most staunch foe in Dan Patch Award winner and Kentucky champion, Miki And Minnie. That filly just took the $96,650 Grade III Shady Daisy in a lifetime equaling best of 1:48.3 at The Meadowlands on the Hambletonian Day undercard.
Despite being overshadowed by Miki And Minnie, who she lost to by a nose in last year’s $400,000 final over this surface, Looksgoodinloulou brings her own credentials to the red clay.
The filly equaled Warrawee Ubeaut’s track and world record of 1:48.3 in on Oct. 4, 2024, in a $81,600 division of the International Stallion Stake and established a track record of 1:48.4 in her $25,000 Breeders Crown elimination last year at The Meadowlands. She was second by a nose to Miki And Minnie in the $700,000 final.
Looksgoodinloulou was sold privately after being bred by her trainer and Weaver Bruscemi. Both entities still own her in conjunction with Lawrence Karr and Phillip Collura.
The filly is the first foal out of a world champion dam (Pet Rock, $322,378). Looksgoodinaromper captured the $300,000 Ohio Sire Stakes Final for 2-year-old fillies in 2019.
Looksgoodinloulou has earned $322,478 with a record of 14-5-1-2.
Unreasonable (Marcus Miller) will be ready, willing and able to quash Looksgoodinloulou’s quest to visit the winner’s circle. Trained by Erv Miller, the daughter of Huntsville-Roaring To Go is 7-2 on the morning line and will begin pacing from the rail. The filly is on a three-race win streak and won the $100,000 sire stakes final for this age, gait and division at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming and Hotel on July 14 in a lifetime best 1:49.4.
Bred by Steve Stewart and Frank Chick, Unreasonable was a $55,000 purchase at the 2023 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale by her trainer’s stable and David J. Miller. She is the third foal out of a dam that amassed $431,999 during her career.
Roaring To Go (Art Major) is a half-sibling to Well Lets See (Well Said, $122,124), Queen Of The Pride (McArdle, $787,211) and Cold Decked (Racing Hill, $107,389).
Monserrate (Gingras) was assigned post position two for the Kentucky Sire Stakes leg for 3-year-old male trotters. The son of Chapter Seven-Guinevere Hall is 3-1 on the morning line for trainer Andrew Harris.

The colt won last year’s $447,000 Valley Victory Final at The Meadowlands and was second in his $119,500 division of the Stanley Dancer Memorial at the East Rutherford, N.J., facility to Kentucky champion and $1 million Hambletonian second place finisher Super Chapter on July 12.
Monserrate is entering this contest off a sixth-place finish in his $83,550 Hambletonian elimination on July 26 behind Emoticon Legacy.
Bred by Steve Stewart, Black Creek Farm and Maumee River Stables, the colt is the first offspring out of his world champion dam (Cash Hall, $491,513). He sold to William Pollack, Bruce Areman and his trainer for $200,000 at the 2023 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.
Monserrate has compiled a resume of 18-5-5-1 and has banked $395,833 in his two seasons of competition.
An intriguing prospect in this field of 12 is Whiskey Wow (no driver yet named) who will begin his mile from post position seven for Burlin Brower. The son of Crazy Wow-Whimzical Britt) is 8-1 on the morning line.
The gelding just won the $50,000 Kentucky Proud Series Final and has competed primarily on the fair circuit. He did not break his maiden until May 31 at the Mayfield Fair after starting only once at 2.
Whiskey Wow has earned $62,610 and sports a resume of 9-6-1-2. His lifetime mark of 1:52.2 fits with this field.
Bred by Crawford Farms, the gelding is the fifth foal out of a dam (Cash Hall) who collected $132,442 during her racing career. He is a half to Whimzical Chapter (Chapter Seven, $240,987) and a full sibling to Cross Creek Samara ($131,562).
Whiskey Wow is owned by this trainer who brought him home for $20,000 from the 2023 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.
