World champion Triumphant Caviar now standing in Ohio

Sugarcreek, OH — World champion trotter Triumphant Caviar is now standing stud at Abby Stables in Sugarcreek, Ohio.

Triumphant Caviar 3,1:54.2h; 4,1:51.4s won 16 races and is the richest son of SJ’s Caviar ($796,794). He is out of the Tagliabue mare ENS Tag Session. She was a multiple PASS winner and a highly productive broodmare whose seven progeny generated five stakes winners.

As a 2-year-old, Triumphant Caviar earned $127,274 and was race timed in 1:55 in the Breeders Crown final.

As a 3-year-old, Triumphant Caviar was second to Horse of the Year Muscle Hill in a 2009 Hambletonian elimination, timed in 1:53.1. Triumphant Caviar then set the world record of 1:54.2 for a colt on a half-mile track in the Old Oaken Bucket in Delaware, Ohio. He still co-owns that record today. Triumphant Caviar finished his 3-year-old campaign with a second in the 2009 Breeders Crown to Muscle Hill.

As a 4-year-old in 2010, Triumphant Caviar defeated most of the top older trotters racing today, including San Pail and Arch Madness. Triumphant Caviar set a new Canadian record of 1:51.4 for stallions 4-years-old or older at Mohawk Racetrack. Triumphant Caviar next established a new track record of 1:53.1 while winning the Pride In Progress Trot at Indiana Downs. He established a new track record The Meadows as well.

Triumphant Caviar will have a 2012 stud fee of $3,000. A multiple mare discount is available. A limited number of lifetime breedings and/or syndicate shares will be available.
