Meadowlands tellers meet with New Jersey legislators

from the USTA Communications Department

Columbus, OH — A meeting between Meadowlands Racetrack’s tellers and a pair of New Jersey legislators took place on Thursday (April 21).

In his blog on northjersey.com, writer John Brennan reported that “a meeting took place today between tellers, state Senator Richard Codey and Assemblyman Ralph Caputo, both of Essex County. Not much is being said about it, though. “The meeting went well, is all I’ll say,” said Tom Luchento, president of the state’s harness racing industry organization. “I was happy.”
