After Check Six’s recent move to Minnesota, it was announced that owner Dr. Ken Rucker will be offering $10,000 cash to the breeder of the highest money-earning Check Six 2-year-old in his first Minnesota crop (2024 breeding year).

Please note only money made at Running Aces Racetrack will be counted (money earned at fairs and other pari-mutuel tracks will be excluded).

This is an exciting opportunity for current Minnesota breeders, as well as out-of-state breeders that are seeking a lucrative program with minimal competition compared to other jurisdictions. Minnesota-bred yearling prices, as well as the sales they sell at, have been growing exponentially in the last few years.
