12 horse Burke consignment brings healthy prices at onGait.com

Boca Raton, FL — Odds On Osiris p,3,1:49.3s led the 12 horse Ron Burke Stable consignment on Wednesday afternoon when he sold to Tom Svrcek for $104,500.

A winner of two Opens in his last three starts at Northfield, the gifted son of Rockin Image has bankrolled $40,344 so far in 2023.

Among the others selling for the Burke Brigade were the Sweet Lou son Phoenix Of Fluzzy p,3,1:50.4f to Chad Kowal for $51,200; As Always p,4,1:50.1, an Always B Miki 5-year-old with a high bid of $41,400 from Richard Johnson; Cheryl Houck bought the Always B Miki 3-year-old Crown Of Thorns p,2,Q1:55.2f for $30,000; Barney Hanover, a maiden 3-year-old son of Sweet Lou sold for $26,200 to Victor Liberatore Jr.; the 4-year-old trotter Kosher Mahoney 3,1:53.3f, went to Jeff Fought for a winning bid of $46,000; a pair of Tactical Landing fillies sold — Las Alturas 2,1:57.1f for $70,000 to Eric Good and Princess Caitlyn 2,Q1:59.3 for $30,000 to Vincent Chianca Jr.; and Always Rosie p,2,1:58f, who raced at The Meadows just prior to selling, went to Mark Sarcone for $9,800.

The consignment grossed $448,900 or an average of $37,408.

Some of the horses presently in the ring at onGait are Axlrose Seelster 3,1:58.4s, a 3-year-old Ontario eligible consigned by Paul MacDonell; Foxy Fiji p,4,1:51.4f, a daughter of JK Endofanera racing in Ohio for owner Howard Taylor; and the American Ideal 4-year-old American Zestar p,3,1:53.2f from the Travis Alexander Stable.
