Nichols, NY — Driver Mike Merton and trainer Rob Harmon combined to have a grand slam afternoon including a win with Kilowatt Kid N during the $11,000 Open II Handicap Pace At Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 14).

In the feature Rebellious (Ridge Warren) grabbed the front and was first to the quarter in :27.3.  He used a :29.0 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.3.  He was first to three-quarters in 1:23.3.

As they made the turn for home Tuggin On My Heart (Aaron Byron) popped the pocket as Kilowatt Kid N ($10.00) came three-wide.  Kilowatt Kid N blew right on by to win in a seasonal best of 1:52.0.  Tuggin On My Heart finished second.  Cyrus N (Lauren Tritton) was third best.

Kilowatt Kid N is a 9-year-old gelding by American Ideal.  He is owned by Michael Spacarelli.  It was his fourth win this season and his 19^th career victory.

Merton and Harmon got their other wins with Third Edition ($4.20), Coalford Bythesea ($3.70), and Jackie Moon ($2.40).

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Friday (May 19) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
