‘Quiksilvr’ repeats, claiming box flows at Pocono
The claiming box was the hot spot Tuesday afternoon (June 10) at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, with the first three finishers in the $16,000 claiming handicap trotting feature changing barns, and the division reserved for claimers of the two $15,000 co-feature trots seeing three horses also going to “new” homes, including the first two finishers.
Full session of qualifiers for 2-year-olds at Philly
The first full day of 2-year-old qualifiers at Harrah’s Philadelphia in 2025 was held on Tuesday morning, with three cuts for each sex/gait combination except for only two races for trotting colts.
Noble scores three in BSS action at Northfield
Dan Noble had a successful night at MGM Northfield Park on Monday (June 9), winning three of the five $20,000 divisions in the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3-year-old male trotters. None of the winners from the first leg of the BSS on May 23 at Eldorado Scioto Downs were able to repeat on Monday.
