Columbus, OH — With a double instant carryover of the Super Hi-5 on Friday at Eldorado Scioto Downs, the track will be guaranteeing the wager at $40,000 for Saturday (September 9). The guarantee will be in race 4, with a $7,753 carryover is scheduled to go off at 6:22 p.m.

There are also four $10,000 guaranteed wagers on Saturday’s card – the three $.50 Pick-4s starting in races 1, 11 & 15, as well as the Scarlet Championship $.20 Pick-8, starting in race 5. The Pick-8 as well as the three $.50 Pick-5s, starting in races 3, 8 & 14, have a track low 14% takeout.

Saturday is Ohio Super Night, the richest day in Ohio harness racing history with 18 races going for $3.7-million in purses. First post is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Free program pages are available on thetrack’s website.

Two Grand Circuit events will be highlighted amongst the eight $300,000 Scarlet Championships for the Ohio Sires Stakes and the eight Gray Championships going for $100,000 each. The 9^th edition of the Charlie Hill Memorial Trot and 10^th edition of the Jim Ewart Memorial Pace will go off as races 13 & 14, respectively, on the evening’s card.

Special activities for the night will include a driver autograph session, special edition t-shirts tossed from the winner’s circle, a food truck court, live music on the patio and more.

Gabe Prewitt and Jessica Otten will co-host special coverage on Fox Sports 2 of the evening’s races from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. as part of America’s Day at the Races, produced by the New York Racing Association (NYRA). Emily Ratcliff will also appear on the broadcast, as well as co-host the simulcast program with Scioto’s on-air commentator Jenna Otten. The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association “Saturday Night at the Races” team will also be on site to stream the entire card on theirFacebook page.
