Anderson, IN – After a wild Thursday night program saw favorites go 0-for-14 on the evening with an average win price of $27.40, both Pick-5 sequences went unsolved leading to a double $14,819 carryover into the Early Pick-5 (races 1-5), with the pool being guaranteed at $60,000 to begin the Friday (Oct. 23) card at Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
First post for the 14-race program is 5:30 p.m. and will also include a $4,142 Early Pick-3 (races 2-4) carryover left in the wake of the Thursday night bombs. The Friday program will also feature the traditional $10,000 guaranteed pools in both the Late Pick-4 (races 11-14) and Late High-5 (race 14), with those guarantees offered every weeknight at Hoosier Park in partnership with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program.
The Friday program kicks off with an eight-horse Open Pace in the first, headlined by double-millionaire Little Rocket Man as the 5-2 morning line favorite off his third Indiana Sire Stakes title in his last out. The Friday program also features Grand Circuit racing, with four splits of The Circle City for three-year-old headlining the program.
Free Online programs for the Friday card are available on the Hoosier Park website, in addition to free access to Hoosier Park replays. Qualifier replays can be found at the Hoosier Park AV YouTube channel.
Those attending the action in person can also watch and wager on the 2026 Breeders Crown, hosted by Hoosier Park’s sister property, Scioto Downs in Columbus, Ohio. The two championship nights of racing on Friday and Saturday get underway with a first post of 6:00pm and will feature five Indiana Sired competitors (Mr Bear, On To Norway, Miracle Maven, Whoomp and Odds On Mr Mamba) in pursuit of a Breeders Crown title over the weekend.
