Boudoir Hanover continues championship quest at Red Mile

Lexington, KY — On Tuesday (Aug. 30), The Red Mile will host one $80,000 third-round leg of the Kentucky Championship series, one $30,000 third-round leg of the Kentucky Commonwealth series, and two $15,000 third-round legs of the Golden Rod series for sophomore filly pacers. Boudoir Hanover seeks her second consecutive victory and fourth on the season as she pursues a Championship title in the Bluegrass.

On Aug. 21, Boudoir Hanover returned to the winner’s circle for the first time since she captured the $115,000 Nadia Lobell at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on July 1. The regally-bred daughter of Captaintreacherous-Bedroomconfessions and pilot Todd McCarthy scored as the heavy favorite in 1:50.3 over Msdinosis Bluegrass (driven by Dexter Dunn) and stablemate Dont Fence Me In (Andrew McCarthy) in second-round sires stakes action.

She was bred by Riverview Racing and Visionary Breeders, and sold for $200,000 at the 2020 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

The Red Mile will also offer a $10,000 guaranteed Pick-4 (races 6-9) in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program. First post is 1 p.m. EDT.
