Milton, ON – Woodbine Mohawk Park was forced to cancel Monday (Feb. 27) evening’s card of live racing after five races due to poor weather conditions.

Heavy snowfall and high winds on Monday caused for unfavorable conditions. Despite best efforts, the decision was made following race five to cancel the balance of the 11-race program in the interest of safety for all participants.

Additionally, Woodbine Mohawk Park would like to inform all horsepeople that the track will not be open for training on Tuesday (Feb. 28) morning.

Training will be available on Wednesday (March 1) and Saturday (March 4) mornings.

Live racing is scheduled to resume on Thursday (March 2) evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Post time is 7 p.m.
