Workin Ona Mystery to stand stud in Indiana

Berne, IN — Workin Ona Mystery will stand stud for the 2024 breeding season at Schwartz Boarding Farm in Berne, Ind. His stud fee will be $4,000.

A 7-year-old son of Captaintreacherous, Workin Ona Mystery has a lifetime mark of 1:48.1 with a best beaten time of 1:46.4. He has earned over $1.2 million in his six-year racing career, with 25 wins in 82 starts, including victories in the Standardbred, Bluegrass and International Stallion Stake at 2; two divisions of the PA Sires Stakes, the Bluegrass and an elimination of the North America Cup at 3; the Graduate at 4; back-to-back wins in the #SendItIn at Scioto at 4- and 5-years-old; and the Commodore Barry Invitational as an older horse.

Workin Ona Mystery has consistently gone toe-to-toe in Grand Circuit events, finishing on the board in the North America Cup final, the Meadowlands Pace final, the TVG at the Meadowlands, the Dan Patch, Hoosier Park Pacing Derby, the Joe Gerrity, the Allerage and the Roll With Joe, proving he can compete on any size track.

“We just purchased Workin Ona Mystery at Harrisburg,” said current trainer Michael Hitchcock. “We will continue to race him through December and then take him over to Indiana for the breeding season. We plan on bringing him back to race once the shed closes and look forward to continue racing him.”
