Probably, never has a trotter picked up the winner’s purse of $570,000 as easily as Horsy Dream, with trainer/driver Pierre Belloche, did in the Aaby World Grand Prix on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 10) in Sweden.
Going round the first bend, Belloche had his 7-year-old trotter in front and there they stayed to win comfortably in the 3,160 meter-event (close to 2 miles) in 1.55.4f. Francesco Zet with Ôrjan Kihlström and High On Pepper with Jorma Kontio finished second and third, respectively.
This was the second big win in Sweden this year for Horsy Dream who also won the Elitlopp back in May.
