Harrington, DE – Forrest Bartlett’s Iwannabewithyou ($9.60, Trae Porter) was a wire-to-wire winner in 1:52.4 in the $22,500 Free-For-All Pace Monday (Aug. 26) at Harrington Raceway.
The 5-year-old Luck Be Withyou gelding capitalized on a much better draw this start and was sent immediately to the lead from post position five and never looked back in achieving his 11th win of the year for trainer Kevin Lare. My Miki Beach was second with Ammo third.
Iwannabewithyou had spent most of the summer competing at Ocean Downs, where he won three Open level events.
On the undercard, Cathy Dessert’s Imoutthedoor ($4, Tony Morgan) made it two wins in a row in a $45,000 claiming event for trainer Chris Scicluna.
Trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier had four wins on the card, two of which were for owner Vincent Ferriero. They were Metallica ($5.40, Stafford Jr.), All About The Hunt ($6.60, Montrell Teague), Showdown Lynx ($4.60, Art Stafford Jr.), and Bettor’s Ville ($2.80, Stafford Jr.).
Art Stafford Jr. had 3 wins on the card, all for Crissman-Bier.
