Fort Washington, MD — Live racing action returns to Rosecroft Raceway on Monday (Sept. 15). Racing will be conducted each Monday and Thursday through December 18 with the usual 7:15 p.m. post time. There will be no racing on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving).
This year’s edition of Rosecroft’s signature event the Grade 3 $125,000 Potomac Pace will take place on Sunday, November 2, with a 2:00 p.m. post time.
Pre-meet qualifiers will be held on Thursday, September 11, at 11:00 am. The track will also be open on that day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for training.
The draw schedule will be Monday for Thursday, and Thursday for Monday. The first draw will be on Thursday, September 11, for the opening night program. The entry box will be open until Noon that day in case anyone qualifying that day wants to enter for opening night. On all other draw days, the entry box closes at 9:00 am. Scratch time is the following day by 9:00 am. Qualifiers will be held on Thursday during the meet at 5:30 pm. Please enter by Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.
The two preliminary legs of the Maryland Sire Stakes will be held on Monday, September 22, and the 29, with the finals being contested on Monday October 6.
