Lexington, KY — On Sunday (Sept. 7), the Red Mile will once again host Sunday Night Lights sponsored by Crawford Farms, and the 14-race card is action-packed. There will be two $80,000 fourth-round legs of the Kentucky Championship Series, one for 3-year-old filly pacers and the other for sophomore male trotters. Kentucky champion and Hambletonian runner-up Super Chapter will meet foe Go Dog Go yet again seeking to avenge his loss last week. World champion Looksgoodinloulou will attempt to regain her winning form after a loss to the sport’s top-ranked horse, Miki And Minnie, but must face Unreasonable in the drive to the finish line.
Super Chapter determined to turn the page this week
After an uncharacteristic miscue behind the gate in the third leg of this series, Super Chapter and Dexter Dunn are ready to roll from post position two and are 6-5 on the morning line. The son of Chapter Seven-Lifetime Pursuit was sixth behind Go Dog Go, his only finish worse than second this season, last month after establishing a world record of 1:50 in his nose victory over Emoticon Legacy in the Earl Beal Memorial at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs nine days previously.
The winner of the MGM Yonkers Trot and Stanley Dancer Memorial is trained by Marcus Melander and is owned by Jeffrey Snyder, Arthur Pronti, and breeder Hanover Shoe Farms. The colt has amassed $1.21 million in earnings and is vying for his seventh win in nine starts in 2025. His resume stands at 19-11-4-1 for his career, and he is sixth in this week’s edition of the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.

Super Chapter, however, will have to defeat eight other top trotters, including a familiar face in Go Dog Go. The son of Greenshoe-Primary Target drew the nine-hole and is 9-2 on the morning line with Todd McCarthy at the controls.
The colt secured his fourth win from six seasonal trips to the gate in the third leg of this series in 1:53.2 after coming home eighth in the Hambletonian last month while hampered by a tough draw.
Trained by Carter Pinske, Go Dog Go is co-owned by Al Libfeld and his breeder, Wiesman Farms.
His record is 16-6-2-3 and his bankroll is $470,218.
Go Dog Go and Super Chapter have faced each other on five occasions as freshman with Super Chapter finishing in front in three of those events. As 3-year-olds, the two have met twice, with Super Chapter ahead in the Hambletonian and Go Dog Go triumphant in their last encounter.
Although Super Chapter and Go Dog Go maintain a blossoming rivalry, don’t leave out world champion Mr Mouton. The son of Chapter Seven-Burberry set his record of 1:50.1 at the Red Mile on Aug. 4 and is on a two-race win streak in Lexington after failing to reach the Hambletonian final.
The gelding, who handed Super Chapter a loss in his first outing as a 2-year-old, will be steered by his trainer, Åke Svanstedt, from the rail. The duo is 9-5 on the morning line.
Mr Mouton only raced once last year, and the result was the aforementioned win over Super Chapter. In 2025, he has appeared six times with three wins and two seconds. His only off-the-board finish was in his Hambletonian elimination behind the talented Emoticon Legacy.
Go Dog Go defeated Mr Mouton in a division of the Reynolds Stakes in June in their only meeting.
Bred by Kevin Greenfield, the gelding is owned by Knutsson Trotting, Little E LLC, Stolz Geiger, and Jorgen Sparredal Inc. He was a $140,000 selection at the 2023 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale under the name Count Seven and is a half sibling to Ardonne, who recently captured the William Wellwood Memorial in a stakes record-equaling 1:52.4.
Mr Mouton has $143,713 in his bank account.
Looksgoodinloulou, Unreasonable clash in filly pace
After suffering her first loss in four starts this season to Looksgoodinloulou in the second leg of this series, Unreasonable traveled to Tioga Downs and won the Empire Breeders Classic. She returns to the Bluegrass and is the 6-5 morning-line favorite from post position two with Marcus Miller holding the lines for Erv Miller.
The daughter of Huntsville and the gifted race mare Roaring To Go had a quality season last year as a freshman, finishing third in the Championship Series Final and winning a division of the Bluegrass Stakes, but has really picked up the bit as a sophomore.
The filly is 8-6-2-0 on the season. In addition to the Empire Breeders Classic, she also had her picture taken in the $100,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes Final at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming and Hotel.
Bred by Steve Stewart and Frank Chick, Unreasonable was purchased by her trainer and David J. Miller for $55,000 at the 2023 Standardbred Horse Sale.
She has earned $423,892.
World champion Looksgoodinloulou was responsible for snapping Unreasonable’s four-race win streak in the second leg of this series prior to finishing a strong second to Dan Patch Award winner and Kentucky champion Miki And Minnie last week. The daughter of Sweet Lou and Looksgoodinaromper came home in :25.3, but so did Miki And Minnie.
Looksgoodinloulou drew post position four in the field of six and is 3-1 on the morning line. She is a member of the potent Burke Brigade and will be guided by Hall of Famer Yannick Gingras.
The filly had an exceptional season at 2, with a world record performance, a slate of 8-4-2-0 and $303,075 in purse money.
She commenced her sophomore campaign at The Meadows with a first and a second prior to finishing fourth in the Jerry Silverman Memorial behind Miki And Minnie. She then took an Open event upon her return to Lexington before finishing fifth to Unreasonable in the first leg of this series.
Looksgoodinloulou appears to have discovered her best form in her last two starts as she defeated Unreasonable in the second leg before her loss to Miki And Minnie.
Bred by Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi, the filly is owned by her breeders in partnership with Larry Karr and Phillip Collura.
Looksgoodinloulou has collected $404,087 with seven wins from 15 trips to the post.
Racing at the Red Mile will continue through Sunday, Oct. 5, following a Sunday-through-Wednesday schedule. Fans and horsepeople can look forward to 5:05 p.m. post times on Sundays and 1 p.m. post times on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the meet.
