Washington, PA – Due to track conditions as a result of heavy rain this week, Hollywood Casino at The Meadows and the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association have made the decision to cancel live racing on Friday (Sept. 26) out of an abundance of caution.
Friday’s card was to include seven divisions of Keystone Classic stakes. It had been previously announced that those races would be carried over to another date. However, an updated decision was made to cancel those events.
Horses drawn in to the Keystone Classics will receive a payout based on the value-to-date of each individual stake division. Value-to-date includes all monies paid in by owners to the event. No added money will be included and no starting fees will be collected or added to the payout.
Anyone with questions can reach out to The Meadows Race Office at 724-225-9897.
Live racing will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 12:45 p.m.
