Anderson, IN – Winter weather conditions forced the cancellation of the closing night card after five races on Saturday (Nov. 29) at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, but not before Trace Tetrick and Tyler George made their annual treks to the winner’s circle to be honored as the leading driver and trainer, respectively, in 2025 once again.

Tetrick, Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s all-time leading driver, tacked one more win on the season as he took the Saturday night opener with Vettel N for trainer George to bring his 2025 seasonal total to 351 victories on the meet. With a UDRS of .350 on the meet, Tetrick’s steers racked up over $4.4 million in earnings, headlined by three Indiana Sire Stakes final winners in Rock Shines Again, Miss Fancy Nancy and Rollin Rosie, all for George, in addition to picking up his 8,000th career driving win in 2025.
The 39-year-old driver has now notched 14 leading driving titles at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. Tetrick won his first driving title in 2008, winning again in 2012 before winning his last 12 trophies consecutively every year since 2014.
With plans of heading to Dayton and Miami Valley this winter before returning to Hoosier Park in February 2026, Tetrick currently sits eighth nationally in driving wins, with 431 and nearly $6 million in earnings this year. Tetrick will head into 2026 with $100 million in career driving earnings within range, with him currently at $93 million at the end of November.
The podium of the driver standings remained the same as each of the last two seasons, with John DeLong second with 266 victories, and Kyle Wilfong third with 220. Marcus Miller rounded out the super in his first fulltime season at Hoosier Park, with 218 victories.
The training side of things also saw a familiar face atop the standings, with George winning his sixth consecutive training title. This year, George obliterated his own single-season wins record at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, conditioning 164 winners over the course of the meet. The previous mark was 138, which George established in 2024.

This season has been a banner year in all regards for the 40-year-old trainer, who currently sits 10th nationally in training wins with 200 and has earned over $2.8 million in purses, headlined by the trio of aforementioned sire stakes champions. Closing in on 2,000 training wins in his career, the George barn leads all of North America in terms of UTRS for barns with more than 500 starts at .446.
Ron Burke finished the year second in the Hoosier Park trainer standings, with 111 victories, and Erv Miller was third, with 105.
While the weather-shortened Saturday night card put a bow on the 2025 season, race fans will have their shortest wait to date for the return of racing, with the 2026 meet slated to begin on Thursday, Feb. 12. Harrah’s Hoosier Park will race on a two-day Thursday and Friday schedule through April, when more dates will be added with an anticipated first post remaining 5:30 p.m.
