42 FRESHMEN TO DEBUT TUESDAY
Hollywood Casino at The Meadows will see the first 2-year-olds of the season take to the track Tuesday (June 2) for qualifying races. A total of 11 qualifying races will be held, with the first seven strictly for freshmen. Seventeen of the newcomers will be from the Ron Burke Stable, with the Matt Burkholder Stable sending eight 2-year-olds to the gate during the session. Qualifying races will be shown live on the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association’s Facebook page. Qualifier video is also archived at www.youtube.com/themsoa. Please note that beginning this week, qualifiers will now being at 10:30 a.m. (EDT).
JUNE SCHEDULE SET FOR FOUR DAYS WEEKLY
Wednesday racing has been added back to the pari-mutuel schedule for the summer. Racing will take place weekly during June on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:45 p.m., Friday evenings at 5:10 p.m., and Saturday afternoons at 12:45 p.m.
STAKE ACTION THIS FRIDAY
Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and PA Stallion Series racing returns to The Meadows this Friday (June 5). Three-year-old filly pacers will be in action in the second leg of the PASS series for the summer. Horses are attempting to earn points toward the $300,000 finals, to be contested in September.

A reminder from the Race Office: Because The Meadows is racing Friday evenings for the summer, the box will close a little later than usual on Fridays. Horsemen are advised that the entry box for Wednesday cards closes on Fridays at noon Eastern.
