Hamburg, NY — There was a little bit of something for all of the fans in the featured events at Buffalo Raceway on Friday afternoon (June 19).

For the chalk players, Famous Dan showed the way with a popular $4.04 victory in the $10,900 Trot while in the other race for the sidewinders, those seeking for a mid-range price got it as Biscoe posted a $15.38 score. Then for longshot fans looking for a nice score, Brookdale Seb got the job done with a $39.92 win in the $10,900 Pace.
Famous Dan (Kevin Cummings) got the show rolling in the opener as he trounced the field in 1:59.1 over the fast track. He beat Skyway Professor (Shawn McDonough) by 5-3/4 lengths and All About Thechase (James McNeight Jr.). Famous Dan went right to the point from the start and used splits of :29.3, :59.4 and 1:29.2. A last panel of :29.4 sealed the fate for the rest of the field as Famous Dan strolled home to the easy score.
Owned by Franklin Meier and trained by Angelo Nappo, it was the fourth win in 14 tries on the season for Famous Dan (Dover Dan-Silvia). The decision moved his earnings to $29,840 on the year and to $233,688 lifetime.
In the other trotting bracket, Biscoe (McNeight Jr.) skimmed the rail and went coast to coast in turning back a pesky pocket sitting Dougadougadew (Kyle Cummings) by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:59.4. Mister Squeeze (Drew Monti) took the show position.
Biscoe was able to maintain pylon position from the start and used splits of :28.2, :57,2 and 1:26.4. Dougadougadew tried to rally past the tempo-setting Biscoe but couldn’t complete the task.
Owned by McNeight Jr. and conditioned by Samuel Dilcher, it was the first victory of the season for Biscoe (International Moni-Setntheworldonfire). The victory increased his bankroll to $11.103 and to $239,774 in his career.
Finally in the top pacing event on the program, Brookdale Seb (Monti) used a first over journey and held on late to top the fast closing Beach Choice (Wade Tomaszewski) while Motive Hanover (David McNeight III) was third.
Owned by Jane Stanley and trained by Joseph Alba, the win was the third on the campaign in 16 attempts for Brookdale Seb (Shadow Play-Dew It Again). The victory jacked his 2026 earnings to $18,835 and to $114,034 in his lifetime.
Monti and McNeight Jr. each had three wins on the program with Kyle Cummings snatching a pair. Christopher Petrelli and Dilcher each had two training wins.
Racing will resume on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with a 12-race program to be presented. There’s a $414 carryover in the Pick 5 which begins in the second race.
