East Rutherford, NJ – ‘TILLIE’ PROVES VERSATILE: Yo Tillie, the Dan Patch division winner as the top 3-year-old trotting filly of 2025, recorded her most impressive win of 2026 in the $40,000 third leg of the Miss Versatility for open mare trotters.
The 4-year-old daughter of Tactical Landing-Consolidator, who was driven by Todd McCarthy, cleared to the top just before the half, took bitter pressure from 2025 Hambletonian Oaks champ Conversano around the far turn, and after the pair slugged it out through the entirety of the stretch drive, it was Yo Tillie prevailing by a nose in a brave 1:51 performance.
“She had to fight and dig deep and she was able to do that tonight,” said winning trainer Andrew Harris. “As you guys see, she wins a lot of races by less than a neck, so I mean, that’s her, but as long as she fights down to the wire like that, then I’ve got all the faith in the world that she’ll keep going.”
Owned by the Punisher 11 Stable, Yo Tillie upped her lifetime stats to 22 wins in 30 tries, good for earnings of $1,383,989. As the 8-5 favorite, she returned $5.40 to win.
