Columbus, MN – The featured event on the Thursday night (Aug. 27) harness racing program at Running Aces was the $17,000 Mares Open Handicap pace and K T Part E and trainer/driver Brady Jenson dazzled fans yet again as part of a five-win night for Jenson.
Sent off as the 1-10 favorite from post 9, Jenson wasted little time in getting his impressive 4-year-old mare by Cattlewash involved and floated her wide around the first turn, steadily advancing toward the early leader Premier Desirey (driven by Dean Magee) through the :27.3 opening stanza.

K T Part E assumed control near the three-eighths marker and was well settled on the lead as they wheeled past the half-mile juncture in :56.3 while Minnesota Minnie (Gary Rath) began a first-over bid from the back of the pack with Fillister Photo (Casey Leonard) following cover.
K T Part E was still well in control after three panels in 1:24.4 while Apple Juice and Josiah Miller were now challenging from second, outside of pocket-sitter Premier Desirey.
K T Part E had plenty left in the homestretch and had no trouble defending against a late bid from Premier Desirey, who was clearly second best while JK My Girl (Rick Magee) rallied inside late to grab third in the 1:52.1 mile.
It was the 11th win of the season for K T Part E ($2.20) and boosted her seasonal earnings to $103,410. Jenson is also the winning owner.
The five driving wins on Thursday capped a huge week for Jenson with a total of 16 driving wins and 11 training wins over the last three nights of racing for the Aces defending champion driver and trainer.
Live racing returns to Running Aces for an 11-race card on Sunday (Aug. 30) with first post set for 6 p.m. (CDT).
