On Tuesday (July 2), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (3) Rapid City has a big shot to do well in here. (4) Artistic Dreamer has been on the ticket in four of his last five races; now drops in class and looks to be successful.

Race 9: (2) Bosco’s Angel looks to be right there if she minds her manners. (5) Lots To Like faces easier competition tonight and has a big shot to do well. (8) Action On Lavec could win despite the outside post if she stays on stride.

Race 10: (3) Rounding Third takes a huge drop in class and looks to be successful against lesser foes.

Race 11: (7) Tumblin’ Dice is trained by Billy Farmer, whose average is .572, so his horses should receive strong consideration. (9) Kings Alibi; Ronnie Wrenn was successful with this filly last week and could repeat tonight.
