Analysis:
Race 8: (1) Rare Commidity just won from post eight; faces tougher tonight but draws the rail and looks to get the job done.
Race 9: (1) No Fault Friskie just dominated against lesser; moves up in class but draws the rail and could strike again. (6) Caribbean Girl could do well in her return to Northfield.
Race 10: (4) Sea Slicker drops in class and could get the job done. (6) Rambling Randy has a lot of early speed and could land in a good early spot and get a good trip.
Race 11: (2) Koko In Flight has been racing well from some bad post positions; could be dangerous from here. (5) Tin Star draws into a race where several could win; this one has as good of a shot as any. (9) Search The Falcon should get a good trip from the second tier.
Northfield Park Pick-5, Races 3-7, Monday, Oct. 1, 2012
On Monday (Oct. 1), Northfield Park will offer a $7,500 guaranteed pool in the Pick-5. Beginning in race three, the $7,500 guarantee includes a carryover of $1,295.64. Northfield Park’s Pick-5, Pick-4 and Pick-3s offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent (the lowest in harness racing).
$1 play: 136/49/4/19/235 = $36
Analysis:
Race 3: (1) My Cricket draws the rail and should be able to make her way onto the ticket. (3) Tresner Seelster could do quite well in here if he minds his manners. (6) Heezanartist just won against cheaper; time will tell how he will handle the jump in class.
Race 4: (4) Bluetime Avalanche lands into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the competition. (9) Reel Estate should get a good trip from the second tier.
Race 5: (4) Yankee Coburn drops in class and this field looks to be at his mercy.
Race 6: (1) Rain draws the rail and looks to be victorious in his return to Cleveland. (9) Dice Control looks to be improving and should be able to do well again tonight.
Race 7: (2) Cien looks to make the lead; the question is how far can he go. (3) Summerhill Chris has the ability to land on the ticket. (5) Gramma’s Guy has been the runner-up in both of his last two starts; looks to step up tonight and be the winner.
