Hamilton, NJ — Presented jointly by the Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of New Jersey and the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey, the 14th annual show National Championship Standardbred Horse Show takes place at the Horse Park of New Jersey on September 28.
This year, the show offers more than $5,400 in prize money as well as class ribbons, divisional championships and awards. A very popular event, the show always draws entries from states near and far to New Jersey.
Featuring something for everyone and showcasing the true diversity of the Standardbred, 45 classes are offered. Among the divisions are Showmanship & Grooming, In-Hand, Western, Jumper, Dressage, Fresh Off The Track, Leadline, English Pleasure, Equitation, Juniors, Games, Hunters and Harness.
The show judges will include Ellen Sullivan-Phillips, Kathy Ricci and Equestrian Olympic Medalist Neal Shapiro, who also was a successful harness horse driver and trainer.
