Harrington, DE — Lester Walls and Jack Upchurch’s Cams Little Imp N made this week’s installment of the $15,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace appear to be a replay as she won her second straight in 1:533 at Harrington Raceway on Tuesday. Driven by Brad Hanners for trainer Wayne Whitson, the seven-year-old Camtastic mare set a seasonal best and equaled her lifetime mark. She set all the fractions and won by a half length over Crossfire N and Mapua Magic N.
It was her eighth win of the year as her seasonal earnings ballooned to $108,400.
Toby Lynch, Jr.’s Roses Best won the $11,000 sub-featured distaff winners over pace in 1:561.
Racing continues Wednesday with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
