A Fair Day on his way to the Elitlopp

The 5-year-old Swedish trotter A Fair Day (Oscar Ginman) made a blistering performance, winning in his first outing in 2024 in 1:51.3f at Färjestad Friday afternoon (March 29).

“If I had not waved to the public down the stretch, I think he would have lowered the track record,” Ginman said after the race.

It was a very impressive performance for the trotter, sired by Maharajah, who is trained and owned by Elisabeth Almheden.

She trains A Fair Day and his full brother, 4-year-old Maroon Day, who also won this afternoon at Färjestad.

“I think his performance today brought us closer to an invitation to the Elitlopp,” Almheden said after the win.

A Fair Day has established himself as a top trotter as since Sept. 22 he has been on a winning streak; today he won for the sixth time in a row. He finished 2023 by winning the Swedish Breeders Crown for 4-year-old trotters.
