The 7-year-old gelding A Fair Day, one of Sweden’s most popular horses, scored a convincing win Sunday (June 21) in the Kalmarsundpokalen on his home track in Kalmar.

As usual, A Fair Day had gentleman driver Oscar Ginman in the sulky, and the pair managed to hold the lead from post 1 and stay in front all the way to the wire.
A Fair Day won comfortably in 1:51.0f, ahead of Walmann with Rikard N. Skoglund and Under Armour with Joakim Lövgren.
A Fair Day is trained by his owner, Elisabeth Almheden, a 73-year-old retiree who has also enjoyed remarkable success with his full brother, Maroon Day.
