Columbus, OH – Svanstedt Stable USA announced Sunday (April 19) that two-time Dan Patch Award-winning trotting mare Jiggy Jog S had her first foal, a filly by Tactical Landing.

The post stated: “A precious baby girl has arrived for Jiggy Jog! Mom and baby are doing great, and everything went smoothly. She’s absolutely adorable, and we’re so excited to watch her grow and see what the future holds.”
Jiggy Jog S, trained by Ake Svanstedt, hit the board in 36 of 41 career races, winning 24. The daughter of Walner-Hot Mess Hanover was a two-time Breeders Crown champion, in 2022 and 2023, and defeated male rivals in the $1 million MGM Yonkers International Trot in 2024. Her 6-for-6 season in 2024 also saw her beat the boys in the John Cashman Memorial (in a career-best 1:49.2), Arthur J. Cutler Memorial, and Sebastian K Invitational.
Other victories included the 2022 Kentucky Filly Futurity and 2023 Dayton Oaks and Graduate Series final. She received the Dan Patch Award for best older female trotter in 2023 and 2024.
Jiggy Jog S ranks No. 5 in history among female trotters for North American purses, with $3.05 million. She is owned by Ake Svanstedt Inc., Steve Stewart, John Lengacher, and Hickory Hollow Stables. She was bred by Vestmarka AB.
