Annual Meadowlands “Toys for Tots” drive a success

East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands Racetrack, in partnership with New York Jets game analyst Quincy Enunwa and the United States Marine Corps, wrapped up its annual Toys for Tots collection drive this past Saturday (Dec. 9).

For the past few weeks, employees, customers and horsepeople at the Meadowlands donated toys for children in need associated with SBH Systems. The collection drive was a resounding success, with well over 400 toys donated.

Enunwa and Kayvon Tibodeaux of the New York Giants were on site at SBH Systems in the Bronx this week to hand out the toys.

Big M general manager Jason Settlemoir was thrilled with the response.

“We were extremely pleased with this year’s Toys for Tots collection drive,” said Settlemoir. “The holiday season is all about family and helping others that are less fortunate. All of us at the Meadowlands Racetrack are thrilled that our donations help make this magical holiday season a little brighter for the area children.”

Live racing at the Meadowlands continues this Friday (Dec. 15) and Saturday (Dec. 16) with a 6:20 p.m. first post.
