The Menhammar-bred Fame and Glory (sired by Tactical Landing) hasn’t done much wrong in his racing career. On Sunday afternoon the finest victory to date came when Fame and Glory, trained by Timo Nurmos and with Björn Goop in the bike, won the Swedish Trotting Derby over 3,140 meters or approximately 2 miles with a time of 1:56.2f.

He finished ahead of second favorite Epic Kronos with Orjan Kihlström while Global Etalon with Magnus A. Djuse finished third.
It was the fifth Derby win for Timo Nurmos and second Derby win for Bjørn Goop.
Fame and Glory got SEK4 million for the win and has now earned SEK9,885,000. He has only raced 12 times and has nine wins, two seconds and one third place.
It was the second Derby victory for broodmare Olympia Tilly , who in 2021 was also the dam of the winner Calgary Games, he sired by Readly Express.
The mares division, Derbystoet, raced over 1-5-16th miles and with a purse for the winner of SEK2 million, was an easy task for Norwegian-trained Daim Brodda, sired by Readly Express. Daim Brodda, trained by Thor Borg and with Eirik Hoitomt in the bike, won in 1:54f (mile rate).
