Bailey J Set New Track Record in NYSS Win
It is almost unheard of that a 2-year-old colt, regardless of gait, making his first pari-mutuel start with only one baby race under his belt would set a new track record. Well Bailey J, did just that this afternoon (July 20) at Monticello Raceway setting a new track record of 1:56.2, smashing the former record of 1:58 which was set in the middle of August, seven years ago.

French 3-year-old — Europe’s fastest this year in 1:51.4
Nebraska de Ginier, a three-year-old French gelding, is now Europe’s fastest three-year-old after winning the Prix Henri Cravoisier over the mile at Enghien in Paris in 1:51.4 — improving both the race record and the French record for 3-year-olds of 1:52.1, set by Lovino Bello in 2024.
