Admiral Adam and driver Kody Massey survived a first-up trip to win the Saturday night featured Open 1 Handicap at Northville Downs in a new lifetime mark of 1:53.3.

Jim Taggert drove four winners on the card including a win with K J Michael in the featured $10,500 Open 2 Pace at Tioga Downs on Saturday.

Oregon Trail (Jimmy Whittemore) charged late to capture the $6,500 featured pace on Saturday (July 15) at Vernon Downs. 

Deswanslittlelorie broke the all-time Buffalo Raceway trotting record on Saturday night (July 15) with a 1:55.3 time over a track listed as sloppy.

The Captaintreacherous colt Ken Hanover, away from the races since rocketing home in :25 to be second to Christchurch in a Meadowlands Pace prep, showed no ill effects from the time away, setting a soft pace then turning up the speed to win in 1:51.3 in the $17,000 featured pace at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon.

Three trotters, who were dominant in the Elitlopp 2023, were in action on Saturday.
