Karlewicz Romps, Brandstatter-Hall notches first ‘P’ License Win
Vanessa Karlewicz uncorked a lights-out performance to win one of two $10,000 divisions of the American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC) Trot over the weekend at Pocono Downs, while over 200 miles due northwest Candace Brandstatter-Hall collected her first Provisional-license win in one of two $7,500 amateur driving events at Batavia Downs presented in joint partnership by the AHDC and the North American Amateur Drivers Association.

On what was a beautiful night for harness racing in northeast Ohio, MGM Northfield Park played host to eight $25,000 Buckeye Stallion Series Consolations on Sunday (Oct. 5). Reinsmen Dan Noble and Chris Page together put on a driving clinic, with all but one Buckeye Stallion Series consolations going to the pair.
Duke Lavictoire breaks Batavia Downs track trot record
Despite being parked out three-deep to the half, Duke Lavictoire went on to win the $12,500 Open Handicap trot with authority and set a new track record for aged trotting geldings at Batavia Downs on Saturday (Oct. 4) night.
