Michael Shults was fascinated by horses at an early age – his family had been involved in harness racing before he was born and Shults appeared in his first winner’s circle photo as an infant – but it wasn’t until recently that he embarked on his own career in the sport.

2024 HHI Annual Meetings well attended
Harness Horsemen International’s Annual Meetings, which wrapped up after four days at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Deerfield Beach, FL, in mid-February, were well attended this year, and included the Monticello Harness Horsemen’s Association, which rejoined HHI after a brief hiatus.
