The most recent horse to represent the U.S. and win the MGM Yonkers International Trot, Resolve in 2016, captured the million-dollar race in his first start after winning the Maple Leaf Trot. Periculum, one of two horses representing the U.S. in Saturday’s edition of the invitational event, will attempt to do the same.

Ponda Fashion and Classical Jane each scored upsets at double-digit odds, while Better Tak’em was the lone favorite to take home her $45,500 split.
Carryover and guaranteed pool in Wednesday’s Pick-5 at Yonkers
For the second time this week there will be a Pick-5 carryover at MGM Yonkers Raceway as no tickets had five-of-five in the wager on Tuesday’s (Sept. 3) program, leading to $4,525.33 going into the pot for Wednesday’s (Sept. 4) card. The pool will be guaranteed at $15,000.
Bond retired, sold to Spring Station Bloodstock
The ultra talented trotting mare Bond is ending her racing career and is being sold to Eric Good’s Spring Station Bloodstock where she will begin her new career as a broodmare.
