The Association of Racing Commissioners International (ARCI) just concluded its inaugural Caribbean Racing & Regulatory Conference, hosted by the Camarero Race Track, Inc. and the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission. The conference took place on Nov. 2-3 at the racetrack in Canovanas, Puerto Rico.

De Kooning tops opening session in Harrisburg
Male trotter De Kooning, a son of Muscle Hill-Brooklyn whose full brothers Kings County and Brooklyn Hill were winners on the Grand Circuit, sold for $600,000 on Monday to top the opening session of the 85th annual Standardbred Horse Sale. Ron Burke will train the colt, who was purchased by the group Burke, Brixton, Hatfield.
Matt Kakaley to drive at Northville; Barb Kakaley Memorial Nov. 10
Northville Downs will be honoring the memory of Barb Kakaley on Friday (Nov. 10) with the Barb Kakaley Memorial Race. Barb, a longtime patron and avid harness racing fan, passed away in 2021.
