Columbus, OH – Rose G Travis, age 83 passed away peacefully May 11, 2022 at Crestview Rehab Center in Lancaster Ohio. She was born March 22, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV and as an infant was placed and raised in Athens Children’s Home where she stayed until she met and married her husband of 63 years, Gilbert T Travis.

Son Of A Tiger N (Mike Merton) used a slingshot move and took control as they went by the stands for the first time. He led to the half in :55.0. As they went down the backstretch Prairie Panther ($3.50) made his move first-over. Son Of A Tiger N held the lead to three-quarters in 1:22.3.
