Edgerton, OH — Bart Stimer of Concord, Mich., picked up his 1,000th winning drive on Aug. 22 when he piloted his own Stoneborough to victory at the Defiance County Fair in Hicksville, Ohio.

Stoneborough’s winning time was 2:02.3, which turned out to be the fastest trotting mile at the three-day meet at Hicksville.

Stimer is 53 years old and began his driving career in 1986.
