Malmö, Sweden – The Svensk Uppfödningslöpning at Jägersro, the biggest race for 2-year-old trotters in Sweden with a purse for the winner of $155,000, was won easily by L’Amourpourblanca with trainer-driver Rick Ebbinge in 1.56.2f (mile rate), eliminating the old record of 1.56.4f, held by Smokin Joe.

L’Amourpourblanca is sired by Face Time Bourbon and was bred by Belgium owner Stal Trojaan, but was a foal entered into the Swedish studbook and is therefore considered a Swedish trotter.

His dam, Fanny Cheval by Love You, is Swedish-bred, too.
