East Rutherford, NJ – On Saturday night (March 2) , the Meadowlands hosted two more MADC pace races over a sloppy track with a negative two variant. Not only did Tony Beltrami win both races, one on the front end and one from off the pace, but he was the post-time favorite and normally we don’t see the betting publics’ choice win these events.

He was able to get the lead and ration out Mariner Seelster’s speed from his outside post to win the first MADC event. That mile went in 1:53.1.

He did it again in the second MADC race, coming from off the pace to get up in time by just over a length in the fifth race and that mile also went in 1:53.1.

The MADC series will be back next week on Friday night (March 8) with the first post scheduled for 6:20 p.m.
