East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands Racetrack and the SBOA of NJ will again cooperate to provide access to the racetrack for those harness racing horsemen wishing to train their young horses over the oval during the month of May, beginning Thursday (May 2).

The track will be open each Thursday in May from 7-11 a.m. and the paddock is open and available during those hours.

All horses entering the grounds must have a current negative Coggins test. Vaccination against EHV-1 within the last 90 days is recommended. Horses shipping into New Jersey from out of state must have a health certificate within 30 days per federal law.

The cost for these sessions and paddock hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be covered by the SBOA of NJ.

Please call the Race Office at 877.782.2537 no later than noon each Wednesday with an estimated number of horses so preparations may be made.
