Nichols, NY — Braxten Boyd had four wins including the $15,000 Open Trot with May Baby on Saturday (May 25) at Tioga Downs.

May Baby ($6.20) was first to the quarter in :27.2. Joxter (Tyler Miller) came first-up heading around the clubhouse turn and challenged for the lead. May Baby led to the half in :57.4. She continued to lead and was first to three-quarters in 1:25.2.

As they reached the stretch, City Of Hope (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) popped the pocket and came all out after the lead. May Baby dug in and won in 1:54.2. City Of Hope had to settle for second. Crossfit Mouse (Corey Braden) finished third.

May Baby is a 7-year-old mare by Guccio. She is owned by Cheyenne Yoder and trained by Brandy Wine. It was her fifth win in 2024. She now has 29 career victories.

Boyd’s other wins came with Eternally Hanover, Kaleun, and Homer Hall (this one was also with trainer Brandy Wine).

Live racing returns to Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 26) with a 10-race card starting at 1 p.m.
