Brisk August so far at onGait

Boca Raton, FL — Grand Revival 3,1:54.4f led all auctions Monday afternoon (Aug. 7) at onGait bringing a winning bid of $70,400 from Indiana’s Jeff Fought.

The talented sophomore son of Creatine is currently sitting fifth in the Ohio Sire Stakes standings and has won half of his eight seasonal starts. The Ohio partnership of Deborah Swartz and Zach Henry were the sellers.

Earlier this week, Gentle Giant p,4,1:49f led a large Jason Brewer Stable consignment when he sold for $50,200 to Daniel Markowitz of New Jersey. The Captaintreacherous 3-year-old Lyons Spirit p,3,1:52f bought a winning bid of $50,000 from Robert Cacamese; Twin B Nation p,3,1:52.4s, an American Ideal sophomore, was sold by Determination of Quebec to Mark Weaver for $45,000; and Ideal Funding N p,5,1:54.1h, went for $45,000 with a winning bid from Scott DiDomenico.

Currently in the auction ring are Mistressofthedark 3,2:01h-’23, a daughter of the hottest trotting sire in the sport, Tactical Landing; Crazy Jet, a New York-bred race ready Crazy Wow 2-year-old filly from the Erv Miller outfit and Big Sanchino p,4,1:55.4h-’23, a Downbytheseaside son racing at Northfield.

Established in 2001, onGait is coming off a record-breaking year in 2022 with sales of over $65 million in racehorses, yearlings and breeding stock and is on pace to surpass that mark in 2023.
