Brookview Bullet hits bullseye in Miami Valley Open

Lebanon, OH — Brookview Bullet fired his best shot in the $27,000 Open Handicap at Miami Valley on Sunday (Jan. 15), winning in 1:50.2.

Brookview Bullet and driver Jordan Ross sat a pocket trip throughout, then sprung from the two-hole coming out of the final turn to wear down Makin Some Noise (driven by Kayne Kauffman) in the final strides. My Hero Ron (Josh Sutton) was third.

Sent off at 8-1 odds, the 5-year-old son of Always A Virgin paid $17.40 to win. Henry Graber Jr. trains the 14-time winner for the Eleven Star Stable.

For Ross, a promising 25-year-old reinsman, the feature race triumph was his seventh in the first 10 days of the Miami Valley meet.

Racing at Miami Valley continues Monday (Jan. 16) through Thursday (Jan. 19) of the coming week with a 4 p.m. post time daily.
