Leaving from post one, Brookview Bullet protected pylon position, setting himself up a pocket ride behind Stars Align A (Dan Noble) and a dueling Let It Ride N (Tony Hall).

Through quick early fractions of :25.4, :55.1, and 1:22.2, Stars Align A continued to lead the field to the top of the stretch. It was then that Brookview Bullet took advantage of the Dayton oval’s passing lane and with a tactical move up the inside Brookview Bullet and driver Josh Sutton found victory in the card’s featured race in 1:51 over Stars Align A and Captain Romance.

The 5-year-old gelded son of Always A Virgin is trained by Henry Graber Jr. for owner Eleven Star Stables. Brookview Bullet now boasts $362,406 in lifetime earnings, notching his fifth win of the season.

Brookview Bullet paid $34.40 to win.
