Buckeye Stallion Series action highlights MGM Northfield Park weekend racing

Grove City, OH – The second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for sophomore filly pacer and trotters begins this weekend at MGM Northfield Park. Six divisions of pacers will take to the track Saturday night (May 27) with five divisions of trotters on the Sunday (May 28) card.

In Saturday’s first division, Racing For Three will look for her second BSS win of the year. The daughter of Western Terror has won two of her four starts this year.

In the final division of the night, five first leg winners will square off. Beautiful Seaside, High Flyin’ Filly, Seaside Show, Stormy Serena, and Tre Rock were winners at Miami Valley Gaming on May 1.

The six divisions will each carry a purse of $20,000. A total of 53 pacers are entered.

On the trotting side, 44 fillies are entered in the five divisions. Four first leg winners are entered with Doc’s Boo Boo skipping the second leg.

Crysta’s Legacy and Vandy’s Star will square off in the third division. The two were winners April 30 at Miami Valley.

In the fourth division, Pariso and Smokinhotirishgirl will each look for their second BSS win of the year.

Each division carries a purse of $20,000.

Buckeye Stallion Series action continues Wednesday, June 7 as the 3-year-old colt pacers take the track at MGM Northfield Park.
